Sharks are beautiful creatures. I understand that some people have a fear of them. But I wish people would at least try to educate themselves before jumping to conclusions. I saw a fisherman displaying a dead blue shark. He had no intetion to use it for anything other than a trophy! What a horrible thought, just kill for the sake of killing!! I hope your website might help some people in their quest for knowledge. Thanks for sharing some information with me. How did you hear about us? -Web 23 August 2010 00:19am - cape cod |

Love this website. Sharks are so interesting to me but im scared of them! I wont even go in the ocean NO WAY! I was swiming in Galveston Texas and I went way over three barrier reefs and I had 3 tiger sharks swimming in circles around me! I was so scared I held my breath and went under the water beneth them and swam against the current back to the shore I was being carried out. Very forceful water. The lifeguard said it was my tanning lotion that saved me lol oh never again but I do wonder if thats why they didint attack. How did you hear about us? -Web 20 May 2010 04:59pm - USA |

Hi. I watched a Canadian Geographinc on the right whales and East Coast Ecosystems work to protect, rescjue and research these amazing creatures. Thank you for your tireless efforts to support this increasingly endangered natural marvel. Our government has a duty to work to ensure we preserve this national treasure. Thanks! Interesting facts, well presented. Came for some Thresher Shark info and learned quite a lot. Keep up the good work. Sharks are just as lovable as dolphins and whales...all from afar. 4 September 2007 00:49am - Montreal, Canada Webmaster Comments - 1533688811 |

Looking for info on what was jumping out of the water just north of MacMaster Island yesterday (Passamaquoddy Bay side). I witnessed about 10 minutes of this activity through my binoculars, but was too far away at Big Cove/Bocabec, NB, Canada to make out what they were. They had to be pretty big for me to see them from that far away. Any guesses?? 19 August 2007 06:50pm - Bocabec, NB, Canada Webmaster Comments - 2085457811 |
